Techno Genre

Techno music came out in the 1980's, it was influenced by the popular electronic music from the 70's in Detriot, where this type of music was born. Techno was used mostly for the clubs, it gave an urban take on music of German Musicians. The style emerged to what it became when musicians took cheap, used electronic instruments and abused them in ways never intended to get the type of music that they got. Since techno hit the clubs in Chicago and New York it was popular throughout the whole 80's. Back in their days people like:
-Juan Atkins
-Kevin Saunderson &
-Derrick May

Were known as the “Belleville Three” They were the top of techno music. One of the best known early techno songs is "Alleys of your Mind", by techno artists Cybotron. Works from Juan Atkins, Derrick May and Kevin Saunderson. Sadly didn't make the charts, but were very effective because they were played in major clubs in the US. In 1988. Now days, we have dj’s that mostly do techno’s. Example: DJ Blend, he is a well known techno/electro dj. He has many mixes that hit up the clubs of our days, people love and enjoy his work a lot.
Here are a few of his mixes. (If interested)

There is many types of techno music that goes under that genre of music here are some examples of different types:
- House - Disco
- electro - Industrial
- Technonic - Dumpstep
These all fit under techno music because they are the same type of thing just different kind of sounds and beats to their songs.

The value of this genre is mainly to give a happy upbeat feeling. The point of this type of music is to make you feel the beat and just let go to the song the way you want. Listing to Techno always puts people in a better mood and makes them express themselves their own way. Techno has maybe changed a little, like the songs and sounds but the value of this genre will never change.
